City Massage is an online massage directory which is dedicated to providing a space for genuine professional massage therapists to promote their services, whilst also providing the general public with a platform where they can find real professional massage therapists in the UK and eventually internationally. These are our general Terms and Conditions regarding the use of this website.

Acceptance of our Terms and Conditions

This platform may only be used in a lawful manner and for lawful purposes only. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, bylaws and regulations of the city/country you are located in. By using our site, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions as applied to your use of the site. Should you not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not access or otherwise use the site. You also agree to the City Massage Privacy Policy and accept cookies from this site. Please make sure to review the relevant pages regularly as City Massage may update the terms at any time. If you object to any term or condition or are not happy with any changes in the future we recommend not using City Massage.

Use of City Massage

As a condition of your use of City Massage you agree that you will not:

• violate any laws of the city/country you are located in
• violate any of our Posting Rules.
• post or otherwise communicate any false or misleading material or message of any kind
• infringe any third-party right
• distribute spam, chain letters, or promote pyramid schemes
• distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm City Massage or the interests or property of City Massage users
• copy, modify, or distribute any other person’s content without their consent.
• harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent.

You may use our site only for lawful purposes. You may not use our site:

• in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation
• for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way

Massage Therapists:

• Massage Therapists whom we have invited to meet with us via contacting them to find out if they would like to join our site or those whom have contacted us, because they would like to join our site, will need to provide us or a representative with official ID, proof that they are certified, insured and experienced in their field.
• We accept national certification which is recognized by the country which you are advertising in, but if a massage therapist’s certification is from another country, they have to provide us with proof that it is recognized in the country which they currently reside in.
• Therapists that wish to advertise on our site, should have a minimum of four years experience within the industry. Even though we have stated that, in some cases we will make accommodations for a limited number of massage therapists with less experience, providing that they can prove they are skilled according to our standards.
• Insurance certificates must be valid and if insurance lapses whilst still advertising, we will temporarily remove your ad until you renew your insurance and provide us with proof that it’s been renewed.
• Do note, that should it come to light that you have submitted any fake ID, massage certification and any other forms of documentation or so called proof that we requested, as listed in our posting rules, we reserve the right to restrict your use of City Massage either temporarily or permanently.
• This site aims to help massage therapists, as they generally have less chances of work in various establishments, especially spas, where most prefer to just take on beauty therapists who can do a range of treatments including massage. Beauty therapists are allowed to join, but this will be restricted to a very limited number, plus beauty therapists will need to prove they are skilled according to our standards.
• Therapists who have come to our notice that have posted content on our site or any third party directory/classified ad websites, which hint at sexual services, shows photos/videos dressing or moving in a sexually suggestive way, to entice potential clients, will be expelled from the site.

General Public/Clients

This site is intended for the general public to be able to find real professional massage therapists as listed on our site. This site is not intended for those seeking any form of sexual services, so please do not contact any of the massage therapists in our directory, if that is what you are looking for. Apart from that, please take note of the following:-

• Do not contact massage therapists asking for any kind of sexual services. If this is what you want, you can easily find a plethora of people who provide this kind of thing via using google or any other search engine.
• Calls to most if not all of our massage therapists, will not be accepted from withheld numbers.
• Please be respectful to massage therapists and note that they are not servants or slaves to be spoken to and treated in a disrespectful manner.
• Should you book an appointment to see a massage therapist to provide a mobile service at your residence, please make sure to clear space for their portable massage couch, provide access to a kitchen/bathroom where they can wash their hands and if you have any pets, please be sure to keep them out of the way of therapists, especially where dogs are concerned.
• You can search to find massage therapists based upon city, particular therapy and whether they treat men, women or both.

Personal Information

By using  City Massage, you agree to the collection, transfer, storage and use of your personal information by City Massage on servers located in the United States as further described in our Privacy policy. You also agree to receive marketing communications from us unless you tell us that you prefer not receive such communications.

Deleting of advert

You acknowledge that your advert may be deleted from the City Massage site if we believe these Terms and Conditions, including our Posting Rules, are breached, either directly or indirectly. You would have already paid a fee for the display of such an ad so you may be entitled to a refund of such fee. However, we reserve the right not to refund the City Massage users for any fees paid through the use of our site if you breach, in our opinion, these Terms and Conditions, which include, without limitation, the Posting Rules;

Amending your advert

You can update or amend your contact details at any time by signing into your account on the City Massage website. If while verifying your ad we find a small infringement of the Terms or Posting Rules, we reserve the right to amend your ad so it meets all Rules and Terms.

Posting rules

• Your ad must not offer sexual services.
• As an independent massage therapist, you must upload at least one clear photo of yourself, up-to professional standards, to be used as your profile shot. If you are a business, then you should use a professionally shot image, be it of you, members of staff or your establishment and not a stock image of someone else. All photos must be decent and of a standard deemed professional. Ads that contain images of full nudity, glamour, sexual or suggestive positions, are not allowed and anyone posting these kinds of images which are so prevalent on various other directories, classified ads and so called massage business websites, will have their ad removed and will be expelled from using the site for breach of our rules. Examples of photos, include those that show cleavage, positioning your body in a way to accentuate your figure, pouting, overpowering make up and doing your best to look as sexy as possible, are not acceptable. We do not mind you enhancing your features to appear more attractive, but please know that there is a difference between using a professional image and using an image based on sex appeal to entice clients.
• When posting videos, the same rules apply as above.
• You must not use the details (name, phone number, mailing address, email, photos, etc) of someone else without their permission or provide false contact details.
• You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to City Massage and any consequences that may result from your post. We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse or delete content that we believe is inappropriate or breaching the above terms. We also reserve the right at our discretion to restrict a user’s usage of City Massage either temporarily or permanently, or refuse a user’s registration.
• You must be qualified, insured and be able to present us with legitimate documentation in relation to use this site.

General Maintenance

Please note that just like any other website, which has to deal with cyber attacks and carry out general maintenance, sometimes the site may be down for a period of time whilst attending to these. Obviously, we will do our best to work as speedily as possible to rectify any problems or maintenance issues which may arise. Joining and using our site means that you understand that the site will be down sometimes to attend to these issues and that you agree to our terms and conditions.

Promotions

Citymassage.world provides this platform for promotion of massage services for mostly independent massage therapists and will also take part in the following:-

• Unlike most other platforms for massage therapists, we will actively promote independent massage therapists via social media platforms and the amount of times we promote a massage therapist, depends upon their package.
• Promotions on social media for massage therapists will usually be via a list of content which will be reused of the said period of time for their package.
• Extra promotion will be given to any of our massage therapists (no matter what their package is), if they are doing fundraising for a charitable cause or if they are working with us to fundraise for a charitable cause.
• Massage therapists with package 3 can get extra promotion up-to four times a year in relation to an offer/project they are doing for an extra fee, as long as we like the idea. These types of promotions will be more personalised than the general promotions we do online, as we will actually be working with the therapist to get them off the ground.

Liability

Nothing in these terms shall limit our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or the negligence of our agents or employees. You agree not to hold us responsible for things other users post or do. As most of the content on City Massage comes from other users, we do not guarantee the accuracy of postings or user communications or the quality, safety, or legality of what’s offered. We do our best to ensure that massage therapists are qualified by presenting us with documentation and in terms of their ability, some have actually had treatments by representatives, as well as clients that have left reviews in relation to a massage therapist’s  ability. Do please note though, that everyone is different and what one person my deem as good another may deem average. In no event do we accept liability of any description for the posting of any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent information, or material of any kind which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law. City Massage is not responsible for what happens between the site users (therapist, SPA, clinic and Salon) and the service consumer. Whatever is agreed between both parties is strictly between them and City Massage will not be responsible for any damages, claims or liabilities.

Release

The site assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, currency, completeness or usefulness of information, views, opinions or advice in any material contained on the Site. In addition, it does not endorse any opinions or recommendations posted by others. Any information posted on the Site is the responsibility of the person or persons posting the message. Severance and Waiver

Please note we do not refund fees for any massage ads removed for policy violations, or any which have been cancelled by the advertiser.
